The pictures below are in stages. Most recently Lee has finished the seat off with a new covering and the original foam. The seat was welded by Dave Cross (thanks Dave lovely work) and was finished with a powder coat by Francis at adept powder coating at Thornton Heath.
It shows how much work it takes to bring a bike back on the road. As there are so few models and not many company’s making seats. I had to get the seat repaired. This took a while and several people in the process. The nice part is that this is the last part to go on. The bike will be complete and just needs starting.
Above two pictures of the seat taken apart. This is how the water that managed to get into the seat has damaged through rust. The motor bike was left outside for over seven years.
